A joint conference ‘GLOGIFT 14’ & the 7th ICCB Symposium is being organised by the GIFT Society and Curtin Business School, Curtin University Australia with the theme “Flexible Capacity Building in Asia and the Pacific”. This event will provide a global forum for practitioners, policy makers, academics and researchers to share their practical experiences, knowledge and insights into the evolution, formulation and implementation of strategies and models for flexible enterprises to meet the changing requirements of global business. The objective of the conference is to provide a knowledge sharing platform for dissemination of research and experiential findings through empirical study, qualitative modelling, case studies, new concepts and state-of-the-art research studies. Researchers, learners and practitioners are invited to submitted research-based as well as practical papers linked with the theme of the conference. The broad areas/sub-themes that will be of interest for the conference are given below. Papers can be submitted in any one of the following sub-themes or related areas.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS |

All abstracts must be submitted no later than 15th July 2014 to the following email address: ICCBConference@curtin.edu.au. For participants in India, abstracts can be submitted to glogift14@gmail.com

Accepted abstracts/papers will be published in the proceedings of the conference on a USB and a selection of full papers will be considered for publication in the Global Journal of Flexible Systems Management (published by Springer) as well as in the form of a book under the Book Series on Flexible Systems Management (also published by Springer).

Submitted abstracts/papers must NOT have been drawn from abstracts/papers previously presented, scheduled for presentation, published, or accepted for publication; and if under review, they must NOT appear in print before the 2014 conference. It is expected that abstracts will represent the majority of the submissions and form the scholarly sessions of the programme.
ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION GUIDELINES |

A separate cover page, setting out the full names of each author, their position, institution, postal address, email and phone numbers must accompany each abstract.

When submitting abstracts, the theme which they are to be included in should be indicated.

The abstract should be saved as a doc.file and named “Surname – theme”.

Abstracts should comprise no more than 500 words excluding references and papers must not exceed 10 pages. References, figures and tables are to be included within the 10 pages.

Abstracts must be in Times New Roman, 12 point and in single-spacing with block paragraphs.

English/Australian spelling is to be observed (refer to the Macquarie Dictionary at http://www.macquariesdictionary.com.au

All abstracts will be electronically published on a USB.

Once refereed, if abstracts are accepted this will be conditional upon at least one of the authors being a paid registrant at the conference.

Authors are limited to a maximum of two abstracts.

- The flyer for the conference can be downloaded from the website. Information on all aspects of the conference will be contained in the flyer. You are kindly invited to visit the website for regular updates on the conference.
- All payment and registration for the conference will also be done through the website. Kindly proceed to the website to register and make payment for the conference.
- Morning, afternoon tea and lunch will be provided on the two conference days; drinks and light refreshments will be provided at the closing ceremony.

- A conference hotel is currently being organised with Hotel IBIS Novena. Hotel IBIS Novena is located approximately 10 minutes to the conference venue. Kindly refer to the website in a few weeks for more details. Alternatively, if you wish to make your own accommodation bookings, a few hotels within the vicinity are suggested below. - Accommodation and costs must be arranged and borne by participants. The organising committee will not be arranging accommodation for participants.
